TDI has established on board complaint procedures according to ILO MLC 2006. These procedures are described in SOP-GEN-025 and are specific to the rights of seafarers stated in the Maritime Labor Convention 2006.
There are 5 sections, or Titles to the convention:
- Title 1- Minimum requirements for seafarer’s to work on a ship
- Title 2- Conditions of Employment
- Title 3- Accommodation, recreational facilities, food and catering
- Title 4- Health protection, medical care, welfare and social security
- Title 5- Compliance and Enforcement
